A wall of real pass photos with the pupil’s own words underneath, and the month they passed. Every card on it is a pupil who really passed with you, because it is built from your own test records, which means it is the one thing on your website that cannot be made up.

They pass

You add the photo straight from their page in the Drive My Way app, the same place you marked them as passed. Whenever suits: at the test centre, back at the car, or that evening. Nothing to upload anywhere else.

They write a few words

The app asks them while they are still grinning. Their words land next to their photo.

You approve it

Nothing appears on your site until you have read it and said yes. Old photos work too, so it does not start empty.

Their permission, asked and recorded for you.

  • Before a photo goes anywhere, your pupil is asked in the app, and ticks each place separately: your website, Facebook, wherever you post.
  • They can say no to all of it, and it makes no difference to their lessons.
  • Their answer is time-stamped next to your terms, so you have the evidence you were allowed to use it.
  • If they change their mind they do it themselves. The photo comes off your site straight away and the picture is deleted, not just hidden.
  • They are emailed that link the moment their photo goes up, so it still works long after their account has closed. You are not the one fielding requests two years later.

With the DVSA code of practice tightening on photographs of pupils, that is the part you would otherwise have to organise yourself, and remember to keep.

Happy with the website you already have? You can have just the pass wall on its own, dropped into your site with one line of code, the same way the enquiry form goes on.

You pick a design

Tell us which of the three you want. We switch the Website tab on for your account.

You fill it in

A Website tab appears in your Control Centre. Your prices, your areas, your photos, a few lines about how you teach.

We put it live

Type in your web address and we do the rest. Usually live the same day you are ready.

Then it is yours

Change a price, add a pass photo, cover a new town. It is live straight away and you never have to ask us.

What it costs

To have it built

£149 once, not every year £139 if you are already on Premium You buy it from the Website tab in your Control Centre, once you have a Drive My Way subscription with your Direct Debit set up. It is a one-off, collected the same way your subscription is, and it is free for the first 30 days. Your site goes live the moment you buy it, and if you change your mind in that first month you cancel it from the Website tab and nothing is taken at all. Hosting is included in your Drive My Way subscription. There is no second monthly bill.

Three months of Premium comes with it, so the app your pupils use carries your name too.

Theory practice, hazard perception and learning videos are part of Premium. On Basic that part is simply left off.

The web address is yours. Already have one? We point it at your new site. Do not have one? They are about £10 a year, and we will walk you through buying one. It is written down, step by step, and takes about ten minutes. You buy it in your own name, so it stays yours whatever happens, and the technical side afterwards is ours to sort out.

Questions people ask

I already have a website. Is this worth it?
Maybe not. If yours is fine, keep it. You can add our enquiry form to it for nothing, and the pass wall above drops into it as well.
Will I come up on Google?
Eventually, and not straight away. A new site takes weeks to be found, and we cannot promise where you land. It is built to be found, but it is not a shortcut.
What if I stop subscribing?
Your site stays up for 30 days after your subscription ends, then it comes down, because hosting is part of the subscription. In those 30 days you can download a copy of the whole site from your Website tab: the words and the photos are yours to keep. If you brought your own web address it stays yours and you can point it wherever you like. A free .drivemyway.co.uk address is ours, so that one does not come with you.
Can I have it exactly how I want?
Within the three designs, yes: your colour, your words, your photos. Something built from scratch to your own design is a separate job and costs more.
Do I need an email address on it?
We do not set up email. Enquiries come through the form into Drive My Way, and you can show whatever email you already use.
Can I put pupils’ pass photos on it?
Yes, as long as they have agreed to it. They are your pupils and your photos, so getting their permission is down to you. Where a pupil writes a few words in the app, they tick to say their photo and first name can be shown, and they can ask for it to come down at any time.
